Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier will face off in what will be DC's last fight before retirement and what better way to end it than the finale to the trilogy fight. The sportsbooks all have this one close with no clear concise favorite with both fighters being minus, DC is ever so slightly favored at -112 vs -104. Daniel Cormier is in better possession of the wrestling and in terms of striking he was out landing Stipe in their last fight. Stipe's victory came off of effective body punches followed by a 1-2 against a tired DC. For as Sharp of a striker Stipe is, Cormier has already knocked him out in their first fight and is the superior wrestler. Daniel Cormier has all the tools to get it done where ever this fight goes even in the stand-up game where Stipe is supposed to have the edge. DC can go toe to toe with Stipe as long as he doesn't burn himself out and he can always use his wrestling as a get out of jail card, it also helps that the arena that they'll be fighting at is smaller this will make it harder for Stipe to use his reach effectively while also making it harder to avoid DC's takedown. The smaller arena also will allow DC to fight from the inside to make of his shorter reach but this where things can backfire for DC if he gets too trigger happy he'll be more susceptible to gassing out since he'll be in range more often.
