Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Ciryl Gane are facing off as the main event of UFC Fight Night: Rozenstuik vs Gane. This should be an exciting heavyweight main event that's gonna be kickboxing focused. Jairzinho Rozenstruik is 11-1 with a 5-1 record in the UFC. Ciryl Gane is 7-0 with a 4-0 record within the UFC.
Jairzinho Rozenstruik is coming off a win against Junior Dos Santos. Rozenstruik has elite kickboxing combined with exceptional one-shot knockout power. We've seen Rozenstruik struggle with his loss to Ngannou and his win against Overeem where he was losing until he landed the KO that busted Overeem's lip.
Ciryl Gane so far has passed every test with flying colors. Gane has a Muay Thai background with a ground game. We have yet to see Gane really struggle yet so we don't quite know his ceiling. Rozenstruik will be the biggest name Gane has fought aside from an aging Junior Dos Santos.
This fight should be wildly entertaining. Gane isn't exactly a proven commodity but he has been nothing short of exceptional with his performances which is why he is the favorite. Gane is the more technical fighter which is why I think he has the higher ceiling but with the odds and Rozenstruik's KO power, a Rozenstruik KO could be a fun little bet. Gonna go with the over 2.5 as Gane should be able to keep out of harm's way early on and he can always go to the ground if he gets in trouble.
