Canucks vs Oilers

The Vancouver Canucks will face off against the Edmonton Oilers in their season opener.

Vancouver needs to plug up a leaky defense that was giving up 3.1 goals a game. Nate Schmidt should prove to be a great addition to the Canucks defense. Demko is hoping to build upon his strong play in the postseason.

The Oilers added Tyson Barrie to build upon their defense. Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl are a feared duo and will look to take advantage of poor defense.

Defensively these two teams are pretty bad and with the offenses present in this one that will be exposed. This should be a high scoring game that will go Over.
