The Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots face off in what would be a high scoring game. Cam Newton has been great in New England and seems to be a perfect fit for coach Belichick, and Cam Newton answered some questions about some the passing game by taking the Patriots within a yard of winning. The Raiders are coming off a win over the New Orleans Saints.

The Raiders offense was led by Derek Carr who was 28 of 38, compiling 285 yards and 3 touchdowns. Darren Waller has really emerged as a legit threat to opposing teams as he recorded 12 catches for 105 yards and a touchdown.

The Patriots on offense looked pretty serviceable as with Cam Newton being the centerpiece, Julain Edelman put together a phenomenal performance and N'Keal Harry is coming into his own. The Biggest downfall for this Patriots offense last week was the running game, While Cam has found success on the ground that wasn't the case for the running backs. Sony Micheal went 7 for 19 yards while Rex Burkhead went 6 for 2 yards against a poor defensive line in Seattle. Rex Burkhead is still contributing as a pass-catcher with his 4 catches against the Seahawks.

The Patriots defense got lit up by Russel Wilson who threw for 5 touchdowns in a close game. Stephon Gilmore wasn't shown any respect by Russ and DK Metcalf as DK Metcalf had 4 catches for 92 yards with a touchdown.

The Patriots just gave up 35 points to the Seahawks, so I do question how well this New England Defense can play against an offensive-minded Raiders team, but I do believe this New England Defense will bounce back as Derek Carr is no Russell Wilson. Cam Newton had a good showing against the Seahawks and think he continues here.
