The Miami Dolphins (0-2) face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1) for Thursday night's matchup to start off week 3.

The Dolphins don't look great this season after 2 straight losses to start the season. Ryan Fitzpatrick is starting over Alabama National Champion Tua Tagovailoa, and he has been off to a shaky start. The Patriots defense gave Fitzpatrick a tough time and he ended up throwing 3 interceptions. Fitzpatrick made up for it against the Bills throwing 328 Yds and 2 TDs on 31/47, but that still doesn't prove to me he's going to make a huge difference for the Dolphins. The Dolphins rushing the ball has also looked shaky in their first two games. As far as receiving goes, the Dolphins will rely on DeVante Parker and they will likely split carries between Jordan Howard and Myles Gaskin.

The Jaguars come into this game after a close loss to the Titans (33-30). Gardner Minshew threw 339 Yds, 3 TDs, and 2 Int's on 30/45 against the Titans. Minshew also had a somewhat impressive game against the Colts completing 19/20 passes throwing for 173 Yds, 3 TDs, and 0 Int. The Jaguars will rely on James Robinson in the rushing game, and D.J. Chark and Keelan Cole through the air in this matchup. I'm still not sold on Gardner Minshew, but if he eats the Dolphins defense up with 4 touchdowns and 300+ Yds, I'll say there's some hope for him to be a tier 2-3 quarterback.

I like the Jaguars in this one, they've had the better offense so far this season and with two sub-par defenses on both sides, I like them to cover the spread here.
