The Houston Texans (0-2) face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0) in this 1pm week 3 matchup.
The Texans have come off 2 losses to two of the best teams in the NFL: the Chiefs and the Ravens. Their 0-2 start doesn't represent them well as a team here. DeShaun Watson will have another tough day against a defense like the Steelers. The Texans will rely on David Johnson on the ground and Will Fuller, Randall Cobb, & Brandin Cooks through the air. David Johnson will most likely have a tough time against the Steelers rushing defense, so it's likely DeShaun will have to take over through the air. J.J. Watt will have a mismatch in this game after the Steelers lost Right Tackle Zach Banner, so expect him to have a big game.
The Steelers are coming off 2 wins against the Giants and the Broncos. The Texans will surely be a tougher matchup for the Steelers, especially since they didn't look stellar on offense against the Giants nor the Broncos. James Conner looked solid last week giving them 106 Yds and 1 TD on 16 carries, but I don't expect his production to be as good against the Texans because of the injuries to the Steelers O-Line. This will be a true test for the Steelers defense, which has looked great, but DeShaun Watson is a dual-threat QB, which could create problems for them.
I like the Texans to cover the spread here, the Steelers have yet to face one of the better teams in the NFL and the Texans are thirsty for a win here. Ben Roethlisberger has not looked the same at QB, and I believe the Texans could potentially upset the Steelers so the Texans to cover is an easy pick for me.
