The Giants are facing the Cowboys in a game that has playoff implications. The Cowboys can win the division with a win and a Washington loss. The Giants need a victory and a Washington loss to win the division.
The Cowboys have been on a tear winning 3 consecutive games after looking like they had no chance to win the division. In the past 3 games for the Cowboys Andy Dalton has thrown 7 TD passes and on the season has a 2:1 TD to INT Ratio. Elliot needs another 100 yard performance which he's only done twice so far this season to get a win vs the Giants. On the Season Elliot has 937 yards and a decent average of 4.1 yards per rush.
The Past 3 games the Cowboys have scored at least 30 points. Overall on defense, the Cowboys are very inconsistent but they have a good pass defense that will give Daniel Jones some issues. One thing to note is OL Zack Martin & linebacker Vander Esch won't be playing.
The New York Giants missed out on several opportunities to win the division down the final stretch of the regular season, and the odds are now against them. Compared to the winning streak of the Cowboys the Giants have lost their last 3 games.
In Daniel Jones's return last week he ended up with 250 passing yards and a 58% pass completion. That won't get the job done vs the Cowboys if he repeats that performance. Although he didn't look good Jones has gone 5 straight games without throwing an INT. Darius Slayton has been targeted heavily as he's been targeted at least 8 times in his last 3 games. While the Giant's offense overall is lacking the defense is their strong suit. For the Giants Jabrill Peppers, Evan Ingram, and Sterling Shepard are questionable to play.
With all that being said I like Andy Dalton and company to get a win in what will be a tough back and forth game.
