Two winless teams are facing off against each other in the Cincinnati Bengals and Philadelphia Eagles. The Cincinnati Bengals offense is putting things together with rookie quarterback Joe Burrow but their defense is still abysmal, the Eagles issue this season has been staying healthy. Carson Wentz has had to play behind an offensive line that has been patched together due to major injuries on the line but fortunately for Carson Wentz, his offensive line will be going up against one of the worst pass-rushing units in the league.
The Bengals offense is being led by rookie Quarterback Joe Burrow who threw the ball 61 times against the Cleveland Browns, completing 37 passes, compiling 316 yards, and 3 touchdowns.
The Eagles on offense have struggled to move the ball through the air due to injuries to the O-Line and the receiving corp. Carson Wentz has been very shaky to begin this season throwing 2 touchdowns with 4 interceptions.
The Bengals defense got has been quite pitiful and will hold this team back from producing many wins. A struggling Backer Mayfield threw 3 touchdowns against this defense last week and Nick Chubb and Kareem hunt ran all over this defense for a total of 215 rushing yards which was almost more than Cleveland's passing yards. Cincinnati also has one of the worst pass-rushing units in the league.
Carson Wentz should have a bounce-back game against a team that went 2-14 the previous year with the lack of a pass rush to take advantage of a beat-up offensive line. This will also be the most talented quarterback the Bengals have faced which is saying much considering the year he's had till now. Carson Wentz should have a much more consistent game today and should look like his former self with time to throw and with receiving targets Desean Jackson, Zach Ertz, and Dallas Goedert at his disposal. In This one I like Carson Wentz 1.5 touchdown and the Eagles cover -4.
