The Tulane Green Wave are heading to TDECU Stadium this Saturday to take on the Houston Cougars on ESPN at 7:30 pm. Tulane is 2-1 after winning their last game against Southern Mississippi 66-24. Aside from Tulane blowing out Southern Mississippi, Tulan's games have been close with a 27-24 win over South Alabama and a 27-24 loss to Navy. Tulane got off to a slow start against South Alabama before coming back in the second half, but the opposite happened against Navy when they were up 24 points prior to Navy scoring 27 unanswered. Tulane's quarterback Michael Pratt wasn't sharp against Southern Mississippi where completed only 44% of his passes in replacement of Keon Howard. Michael Pratt will be getting his first start over Keon Howard so look for the freshman to be better prepared this time around. Houston will be playing their first game this season. Houston was 4-8 with a poor defense last season. I'll take the 6.5 for Tulane in this one as the Freshman should be better prepared in this, and that's not to say Michael Pratt was bad as he was willing to  stretch the field throwing 2 deep touchdowns for 142 yards on 8 completions.
