The Oklahoma Sooners are heading to a neutral site at the Cotton Ball this Saturday to take on the 22nd ranked Texas Longhorns on ESPN at 12:00 pm. Oklahoma is now 1-2 after losing against Iowa State 37-30, causing them to drop out of the top 25 rankings. Oklahoma's defense has been the main component for their slow start to the year. Oklahoma's quarterback Spencer Rattler has been disappointing so far with 6 touchdowns and 4 interceptions in his last two games. Texas is coming off of a loss to TCU as Texas's defense has also struggled. I'm going to keep this one simple, Sam Ellinger has been amazing this year and has limited turnovers with 14 touchdowns to just 2 interceptions this season and has 9 touchdowns with the 2 interceptions in his last two games. This game should be high scoring and while I do believe Rattler has potential, Sam Ellinger has just found his rhythm and I can trust that he will be safer with the football than Spencer Rattler.
