Los Angeles Lakers vs Miami Heat

The Lakers face off against the Miami Heat for game 4 of the NBA finals. The Heat are coming off game 3 upset where Jimmy Butlers snapped for a 40 point triple double. The Heat shot 51/35/91 and dominated in the paint 52-24. The Heat had 12 turnovers compared to the Lakers 19 and were outrebounded 37-43. Bam Adebayo is day-to-day from his neck injury in game one, while Dragic is doubtful.

The Lakers shot 43/33/76 and gave up 19 turnovers. Anthony Davis got into foul trouble early which opened this game up for the Heat. The Heat were able to limit AD to just 15 points though he shot 6-9 from the field.

If the Heat want to win this game, Duncan Robinson and Tyler Herro are going to have to step up. The Heat should look to Duncan and give him more shots with Goran on the sideline. If Bam Adebayo returns this game gets interesting. I expect Jimmy Butler to bring up the ball a lot like he did in game three and basically act as a point-forward. This actually plays to their advantage if LeBron starts at point guard because it removes that mismatch. The Heat are still clearly better with Goran Dragic, but I still feel confident with the offense running through Butler.

If the Lakers want to win this game, Anthony Davis has to stay out of foul trouble. The Lakers need to find an answer to Jimmy Butler in the paint and limit his chances at high percentage looks. The defense needs to step up and apply pressure on the Heat's shooters as well. Danny Green and Caldwell-Pope need to make the most of their offense and execute.

I like the Heat to cover the spread here. This team rallies behind Jimmy Butler and his desire to win. They play for each other and their going to come out and give the Lakers hell. Lakers are likely to win but I see this coming down to the final couple possessions.
