Things are being done a bit differently this time around, before we start the actual playoffs the Memphis Grizzlies and the Portland Trail Blazers will do battle for the 8th seed, the winner will have to face the Los Angeles Lakers. The Memphis Grizzlies havent had the success the wouldve hoped for but are coming off a big win against the Milwaukee Bucks. Against the bucks Jonas Valanciunas had a dominatant tripple double where he had 19 rebounds and 26 points but it needs to be said that Gianas Antetokounmpo did not play in that game. Im not too high on the spread considering all of the close games the Trail Blazers have been in as of late but it is arguably the easiest game they had since the last time they faced the Grizzlies 8 games ago. I wouldnt put too much stock into the Grizzlies win over the Bucks considering that Gianis Antetokounmpo didnt play and that Kris Middleton, along with others played limited minutes. I would take the Under or the Trail Blazers straight up.
