The Brewers host the Reds for game 3 of their four game series after securing wins in both game 1 and 2. For the Reds Sonny Gray will be taking the mound with a 2.21 era and an excellent 0.98 whip. Gray also has a noteable 51 strikeouts on five starts this year. Sonny Gray has an exit velocity at about 87.2 mph, which is just a bit higher than the sweet spot for your fielders (an avg. of 86 mph or lower), but he makes up for it by averaging 10.2 strike outs/game. For the Brewers Adrian Houser will take the mound posting a 3.72 era and a whip of 1.24. Adrian Houser has an exit velocity of about 86.2 mph, which will help his fielders make plays off hits. The Brewers are currently batting at an average of .214 as a team (27th of 30), where the Reds are in dead last at an average of .205. I think this a great opportunity for Gray to have a great game but the Brewers on a roll. This one is tough, but I have to go with the Reds to bounce back with a victory on this one. Gray should come up clutch and get the Reds a victory after 2 losses.
