MINNESOTA VIKINGS VS TAMPA BAY BUCS TEST

  • Preview
  • Lineup 1
  • Lineup 2

The Minnesota Vikings and Tampa Bay Buccaneers face off Sunday at 1 PM ET. The Los Angeles Rams are sitting at 4-1 with their only loss to the Buffalo Bills 32-35 in week 3. The San Francisco 49ers 2-3, have been decimated with injuries and were blown out by the Miami Dolphins 43-17.

The Vikings on offense love to run the football with their runningback Dalvin Cook. The Vikings have the 4th rushing rate in the league but they remain capable through the air with one of the best receiving duos in the league with the emergence of Justin Jefferson alongside veteran receiver Adam Thielen.

The Vikings on defense has primarley been attacked throught the air as they've faced the 4th highest pass attempts in the league while giving up 261.7 passing yards which is the 6th highest.

The 49ers on offense also love to run the ball a ton and the 9iners had running back Raheem Mostert return to the lineup last week. Jimmy Garroppolo had a horrible week coming off an injury that saw him get benched for C.J. Beathard. Jimmy Garropollo should bounce back as he was coming off an injury and he is surrounded with talent with Kittle, Samuel, and Aiyuk.

This should be a low scoring game as both of these defenses are top 10 in rush defense and top 3 in pass defense. Both of these teams are going to lean on the run so a lot of the clock should be eaten up by the run game with the Rams having the edge in the passing game with Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods, and Tyler Higbee. The 49ers are more likely to win in a low scoring game via the run game while the Rams should be more comfortable than the 49ers if they need to open up in the passing game.
